SUMMARY 

I am a writer and campaign professional with an M.A. and Ph.D. from Cornell University in American Politics and Government, specializing in political communication.   I have published more than 100 magazine articles, some listed below.  I was a columnist in Upside magazine.  My most recent focus has been e-mail marketing for political campaigns.  I have provided e-mail list-building services for several hundred campaign clients with two companies I co-founded, Democrats.com and MajorityMessaging.com.  I have also organized and operated three PACs –TorpedoTrump.com, RedefeatTrump.com and Redefeat Bush.com.  I wrote all the words all of these sites.  I handled Google and Facebook advertising and e-mail; optiization for all three.

WORK EXPERIENCE

2025 Torpedo Trump, LLC, Founder: A political committee with the mission of making the resistance to Trump into a more effective opposition.  TorpedoTrump.com.

2023-2024 Redefeat Trump, Founder: A Federal PAC supporting aggressive voter registration and engagement.  Built a list of 750,000.  RedefeatTrump.com.

2021-2023 Majority Messaging, Co-founder and Managing Partner:  Multiple services sold to digital strategists for email marketing support. MajorityMessaging.com

1999-2020 Democrats.com, co-founder and business development lead:  Vendor of Internet campaign services for several hundred Democratic campaigns.  Client list available..

2009 MITRE Corporation, contractor:  Conducted analysis of assets and wrote requirements for the redesign the existing site.  Led staff of 12 in the Information Technology Resource Center.

2005-2006 e-advocates, 2005—2006 Vice President, Campaign Strategies: Internet firm specializing in mobilization campaigns for corporate, nonprofit and political clients. Oversaw SEO/SEM.

2003-2004 Precursor Group, Technology Analyst:  Independent investment research firm specialized analysis for institutional investors. Mastery of quantitative and qualitative analytic methods.  

2001-2002, Global Integrity Corporation, a subsidiary of SAIC:  Consultant to Recording Industry Association Secure Digital Music Initiative.  Co-author of Music Copyright Security and Action Plan.
